Hello, and welcome to It’s The Maya Show! From humble beginnings to being on top of the world, celebrating amazing triumphs, followed by tremendous loss, then victorious yet again, my life has been anything but dull.

People have said to me, “You should write a book!” The more I think about it, the more I think they might be onto something. Having travelled to over 20 countries, living as an expat for almost a decade in two of them, escaping a tumultuous marriage that culminated in a brutal 2 year divorce, just in time to meet my soulmate at 42, battling (and defeating!) breast cancer in the middle of the pandemic that we have all been living through, I have certainly accumulated a fair share of extraordinary stories.

That’s precisely why I created this space. It’s a place where I can share my experiences with you to hopefully inspire and impact your life in a meaningful and positive way.

Here, you’ll find all my social media content in one place – everything from joyful fashion and beauty, fighting and thriving my way through life’s obstacles (hello weight loss /weight / weight loss struggle… Oh! And that pesky cancer thing too.) If anything here has the power to give you even the slightest bit of zhuzh, then I will feel my work, my purpose, my calling to be a success. After all, happiness is more powerful when shared.

As I look back on my life so far, it’s easy for me to see that l’ve been incredibly fortunate; and the only way to keep feeling blessed is to pay it forward.
